Export control laws and regulations apply to activities conducted abroad, as well as activities conducted solely within the U.S. This “Export Control Compliance Introduction” will touch on the major areas that Cornell personnel need to be mindful of, in order to ensure compliance across all areas of research and education, including:
- exports to foreign nationals within the U.S.
- foreign scholars
- sanctioned parties
- fundamental research exclusion
- international shipments
- foreign travel
Attendees will also be apprised of additional resources to assist with ongoing compliance.
