Jilda Garton is a UIDP Senior Fellow and previously served on its Board of Directors, co-chairing the Contract Accords working group. She previously served as the vice president for research and general manager of the Georgia Tech Research Corporation and Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Garton was responsible for licensing IP created at Georgia Tech and directed the Office of Sponsored Programs, the Office of Research Integrity Assurance, and the Office of Industry Engagement. She served on the Council on Governmental Relations board of directors, including two years as chair of the Contracts and Intellectual Property Committee.
