Limited Submission Competitions, Updates to Sponsor Applications, Rate Changes, Training Opportunities

  • List Name: CU-RES-ADMIN-L
  • Purpose: Announce Limited Submission opportunities. Communicate about research administration at Cornell, including sponsor application changes, rate changes, and training opportunities.
  • Messages from: Primarily from the Office of Sponsored Programs and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Innovation.
  • To subscribe: send email to cu-res-admin-L-request@cornell.edu
    • Subject line of email: type the single word join.
    • Message body: must be blank (no signature).
  • To unsubscribe follow the same steps above, but with the Subject line leave.

Communication about Research Administrative-related Issues (For Unit Administrators)

  • List Name: CU-DEPTRESEARCHADMIN-L
  • Purpose: For unit administrators who are listed as department contacts in the Office of Sponsored Program's database. This list communicates research administrative-related issues (primarily pre-award and post-award non-financial).
  • To subscribe: send email to CU-DeptResearchAdmin-L-request@cornell.edu
    • Subject line of email: type the single word join.
    • Message body: must be blank (no signature).

Submit Content for the OVPRI Wednesday Bulletin

Every other Wednesday, the Vice President for Research and Innovation sends a message to the people involved in doing research at Cornell and to all members of the Research Division. This message is intended to reduce the number of messages being sent and providing an easy-to-read, lightweight communication. 

Content

Information appropriate for the message includes the following:

  • Announcements of policy, process, or regulatory changes related to doing research.
  • Events with broad interest to the whole population of people doing research.  

Submit

To submit content for the Wednesday Bulletin:

  • Send your submission via email research@cornell.edu 
  • Your submission should be 1-3 sentences. Use links to provide more detail where necessary. 
  • Include all of the time and place information required.
